SoC Bestiary: Gremlinch

Name: Gremlinch/"Troll monkey"
Height: 2'4"
Weight: 17 lbs.
Bio: These foul primates emit such a powerful stench, they have no natural predators. Often found lurking in trees, Gremlinch live in small communities, and are highly curious (which usually results in travellers being attacked and robbed of their possessions). They are usually feared for their bizarre appearance and atrocious odor, though they are actually quite harmles unless provoked. They possess oppose-able thumbs on both their hands and feet, allowing them masterful grip when swinging from tree to tree, or while grabbing for your treasured pocketwatch. Because of their frightening appearance, they have come to be known as “Troll Monkeys” by commoners.
Special Attributes: May steal items in battle. Their natural odor is considered toxic to people or animals with weak immune systems. They have a vegetarian diet, but will bite in self-defense. A bite from one is highly susceptible to infection (Treat it immediately!!!)

Drop(s): Moldy Fur: Can be used to make clothing to ward off enemies.(Your own mother probably won’t kiss you anymore though...)

Strengths: Agile, intelligent, act in groups, noxious odor. Immune to Poison and Earth magic.
Weaknesses: Low physical strength, low defense. Weak against all other forms of magic.
